Welcome to the Pacific Northwest American Eskimo Dog Club!
We are a dedicated group of dog fanciers who have joined together to:
(a) encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred American Eskimo Dogs and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
(b) urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which American Eskimo Dogs shall be judged;
(c) do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sports-manlike competition at dog shows
(d) conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows and any other event for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of The American Kennel Club.
The American Eskimo Dog, affectionally known as the Eskie, is a very versitile breed that excels in conformation, agility, obedience, rally, carting, therapy, and all around best friend.
The Pacific Northwest American Dog Club (PNAEDC) was formed to promote these activities through the auspicies of AEDCA parent club (American Eskimo Dog Club of America) and the American Kennel Club (AKC). The AKC recognized the Eskie in 1995.
This club is new. Please have patience while we work on details. Last update 1/20/11.
